How to make skin care from your pantry

Have you ever wanted to felt like you needed a body scrub buy you didn't have one and the shops were closed? Well I have put together some great recipes using ingredients you would have in your pantry. A couple of the ingredients you might need to get from your health food store but most of them you would have availabe in your kitchen cupboards.

You will need some measuring cups and spoons, a spatula, bowls and a couple of jars with lids.

Detox Face Mask

2 T Green Clay

1 T Water

1 T Rice Bran Oil

3 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

3 Drops Orange Essential Oil

1 Drop Tea Tree

Add the clay and mix in the water and oil till your form a smooth paste. Add the essential oils and mix well. Apply the mask to the face, neck and chest for 15 minutes.

Salt Body Polish

3 T Coconut Oil

3 T Salt

4 Drops Lime Essential Oil

2 Drops Tangerine Essential Oil

Add the coconut oil and mix in the salt till combined. Add in the essential oils and blend well. Apply all over the body in circular movements and then shower off.

Face Polish

1 T Olive Oil

1 T Coconut Oil

2 T Raw Sugar

2 Drops Orange Essential Oil

4 Drops Lemon Essential Oil

Add the olive oil and coconut oil and combine then add in the salt and mix well. Add the essential oils and blend well. Apply on the face in circular movements for a few minutes then wash off.

Face Mask for Sensitive Skin

2 T Oatmeal

2 T Milk

1 T Honey

4 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

Add the milk and honey and combine add the oats and mix well. Add the essential oil and blend well. Apply the mask all over the face and leave for 10-15 minutes. Remove with warm water.

Lip Scrub

1 t Coconut Oil

1 t Brown Sugar

1 Drop Lime Essential Oil

Combine all ingredients and blend well. Apply to the lip area in circular movements until the sugar has dissolved. The lips should be soft and supple.

Aches and Pains Bath Soak

1/4 Cup Table Salt

4 Drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil

4 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

4 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil

Add all of the ingredients to a running bath and soak for 20 minutes.
